Every October we haul a TV, a Raspberry Pi, a big red button, and a pile of suspiciously named prizes to trunk-or-treats and parties. Kids smash the button, the wheel spins, everybody screams. This year we couldn’t afford the prizes. Help us put it back on the road.

The prize wall

These are the actual 24 slices from Halloween 2025. Spin the wheel above and see which one you get.

We keep the names vague on purpose, so nobody knows what they’re getting. A Brand new CAR! is a Hot Wheels car. $50,000 is a fun-size 100 Grand bar. The rest you’ll have to win.

A normal year means about five events, with at least ten of the twenty-something prize types at each one. That’s a lot of mustard. Want to see the real thing? Open the full-size wheel app.

We didn’t spin once this year.

Prizes cost money, and this year we didn’t have it. Then it rained. A TV, a Raspberry Pi, a keyboard, and a big red button do not like rain, so honestly it was a good year to skip.

That’s where you come in.

With a few sponsors we can buy prizes again, get some rain gear for the electronics, and show up at your event.

Book a night in October

Every night in October 2027 is open. Trunk-or-treats, birthdays, ward parties, school carnivals: if it’s in the Phoenix metro area (east side preferred!) and it’s in October, ask.

Everything fits in the back of a truck, or on a bike trailer if you’re close enough.

The wheel is the headliner, but we’re building more booths. Every game has to fit in a truck bed (or on a bike trailer), and none of them are rigged.

The Candy Claw

A regular claw machine, except it isn’t rigged. Feed it a piece of candy and the claw actually grabs things, the way claws are supposed to.

  • Pumpkinko

    A fold-up peg board. Drop your candy in at the top, and whichever slot it bounces into is your prize.

  • Feed Wingo

    A big plywood Wingo with his mouth wide open. Three bean bags. Get one in.

  • Stop the Light

    A ring of lights chases around and you smash the big red button to stop it on the jackpot. Runs on the same Raspberry Pi, and the timing is honest.
